A regular donation One-off donations are always welcome and we have hundreds of supporters who send us donations once or twice a year. Regular donations, however, enable us to plan our work and set up programmes that can help those most in need of our services throughout the year. Even a small amount can make a real difference to us.

Gifts in kind We have over 100 homeless men and women visiting the LHM day centre every day, many of whom are sleeping rough or in hostel accommodation. We try and help them all with new clothes, toiletries or starter packs of food and household goods - all donated by our supporters. Companies also make donations in kind, to help minimise the cost of our operation here: computers, bicycles, other sporting equipment, fuel, foodstuffs, tea and coffee have all been donated by local businesses and individuals.

A legacy – your gift for the future Naturally when drawing up your will, the interests of your family and those closest to you will come first. But when you have provided for them, you might wish to consider supporting the LHM by means of a legacy. Whether a cash amount, a percentage of the estate or even the balance once all other specific legacies have been taken care of, it’s a special gift that will make a real difference to some of Scotland’s most disadvantaged citizens, and enable us to meet the challenges of the future.
