introduction

Lodging House Mission welcomes referrals from external agencies, and as we run an open door policy, we do not require referral forms to access our services. We would suggest if you are interested in our services, or are supporting someone who you think would benefit from accessing the centre, contact us, or drop in and see what is on offer; appointments are not necessary.

See our contact details to get in touch or for information on finding us.

working together

"The Lodging House Mission and Glasgow Simon Community have a long term history of working together. The Mission continues this professional relationship with Glasgow Street Services and regularly refers people in order to access accommodation and other appropriate services. Glasgow Street Services are able to meet with Service users in the Mission in a relaxed and secure environment. GSS also regularly refer for food and clothing provisions as well as accessing their medical services."

Working with other agencies

LHM works closely with a number of local agencies, and support staff have specialist knowledge in areas such as housing and addiction. Please visit the Visitor Zone for more information on the services we provide.

Facilities

The main hall is an open space, used as the main cafe area, where workshops and information sessions can be held. The centre has an art room, which is a large, open space, suitable for facilitating group meetings. However, it is often booked up in advance, therefore we need notice well before the date of any proposed meeting. We also have a smaller meeting room, where agencies can meet with clients who frequent the centre.

The IT cafe is equipped with 11 computers, plus Smart Board technology, allowing for one to one work and class teaching.
